SignaNatura is a nature, weak signals and future-oriented project focused on helping people observe, understand and interpret early signals in nature, society and the environment.

2. Purpose of the website

The purpose of SignaNatura.com is to provide information, educational materials, community participation opportunities, project updates, courses, tools and resources related to nature signals, weak signals, sustainability, foresight and AI-assisted interpretation.

The content is provided for informational, educational and project-development purposes only.

SignaNatura does not provide legal, financial, medical, ecological, emergency, investment or official environmental authority advice.

3. Use of the website

You may use the website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not harm the website, other users, the project or third parties.

You agree not to:

• misuse the website or attempt to interfere with its operation

• submit false, misleading, unlawful or harmful content

We may remove messages, observations, comments or submissions that are abusive, misleading, unlawful, irrelevant, spam-like, discriminatory, threatening or otherwise unsuitable for the purpose of the project.

We may also remove users from community spaces if necessary to protect the quality, safety or integrity of the project.

6. User-submitted content and observations

You may have the opportunity to submit messages, feedback, nature observations, examples, ideas, comments, images, data or other content to SignaNatura.

You retain ownership of content you submit. However, by submitting content, you grant SignaNatura a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, analyse, reproduce, display, adapt and process that content for the purposes of operating, improving, communicating and developing the SignaNatura project.

This may include using submitted observations or content in aggregated, anonymised or edited form in reports, educational materials, research summaries, project updates, public communications or AI-assisted signal analysis.

Do not submit confidential, private, sensitive or third-party-owned content unless you have the right to do so.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality and appropriateness of the content you submit.

7. AI-assisted content and tools

SignaNatura may use artificial intelligence tools to support analysis, summarisation, signal interpretation, educational content, community tools or project development.

AI-assisted outputs may contain errors, omissions or uncertain interpretations. They should not be treated as final scientific conclusions, professional advice or official environmental assessments.

Human judgement, context and verification remain important.

8. No emergency or authority reporting function

SignaNatura is not an emergency service, public authority or official environmental reporting channel.

If you observe an urgent environmental risk, animal welfare issue, public safety concern, pollution event, accident, fire, illegal activity or other serious matter, contact the relevant authority or emergency service directly.

Do not rely on SignaNatura as the only reporting channel for urgent or legally significant matters.

9. Payments, support, sponsorships and donations

SignaNatura may offer paid products, courses, memberships, sponsorship opportunities, supporter options or donation links through third-party platforms.

Payment terms, taxes, technical delivery and refund procedures may depend on the specific product, service or payment provider.

Support payments, donations and sponsorships are generally voluntary. They do not create ownership rights, decision-making rights or guaranteed influence over the project unless separately agreed in writing.

If a specific product, course or service is purchased, the terms shown at the time of purchase apply.

10. Cancellation and refunds

Consumer cancellation and refund rights may apply to certain online purchases, digital services or digital content.

A separate Cancellation and Refund Policy may provide more detailed information about cancellation rights, refund rules, digital content access and exceptions.

Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under Finnish or EU law.

11. Intellectual property rights

All content on SignaNatura.com, including text, graphics, logos, images, course materials, frameworks, concepts, designs, videos, documents, digital tools and website structure, is owned by SJR Consulting Oy / SignaNatura or used with permission, unless otherwise stated.

The names SignaNatura, SignaFutura, related project concepts, slogans, visual identity and brand materials may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement, partnership or ownership without written permission.

You may quote short excerpts from public website content for normal reference, commentary or sharing, provided that you credit SignaNatura and do not misrepresent the content.

12. Open-source materials

Some SignaNatura tools, datasets, templates or code may be released as open-source or openly licensed materials.

In such cases, the applicable open-source licence, Creative Commons licence or other stated licence governs the use of that specific material.

These Terms do not override separate open-source licence terms.

13. Third-party links and services

The website may contain links to third-party websites, platforms, payment providers, social media services, embedded tools, analytics tools or external resources.

We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, terms, availability, security or accuracy of third-party services.

Your use of third-party services is governed by their own terms and policies.

14. Accuracy and availability

If you are a consumer, you have mandatory rights under Finnish and EU consumer protection law. These Terms do not limit those mandatory rights.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and mandatory consumer protection rules, the mandatory rules apply.
