From Quiet Signals to Shared Awareness
Notice the Signals
Nature often speaks quietly through fewer insects, silent forests, unusual weather, stressed animals and changing seasonal rhythms.
Share Observations
Every local observation matters. What one person sees as small can become part of a larger signal when shared with others.
Analyze the Patterns
SignaNatura collects and analyzes observations to find recurring signals, unusual changes and early warnings from the living world.
Give Nature a Voice
Our mission is to turn scattered observations into shared awareness especially for animals, species and ecosystems that cannot speak for themselves.
Our vision
To make nature’s quiet signals visible before they disappear into silence.
Our vision is a world where changes in nature are not noticed only after the damage has already been done.
We want to build a community where people learn to recognize small changes in nature early: silent forests, fewer insects, shifting seasons, stressed animals and other signs that the living world is trying to tell us something.
We believe that one observation may seem small, but thousands of observations can form an important signal.
SignaNatura’s vision is to turn these scattered observations into shared understanding and to give a voice to nature, animals and ecosystems that cannot speak for themselves.
We do not want to wait until silence becomes the final signal.
Our mission
To collect, listen to and interpret nature’s weak signals together with a community.
Our mission is to build the SignaNatura listening network: a community of people who observe, follow and report small changes taking place in nature.
Our role is to collect these observations, analyze them carefully, and connect individual messages into a wider overall picture.
We combine human observations, open data and artificial intelligence to identify recurring signs, unusual changes and early warnings about the state of nature.
We do not claim to predict the future with certainty. Instead, we help make nature’s quiet changes visible earlier, more clearly and more understandably.
SignaNatura’s mission is to act as a voice for nature especially for the animals, species and ecosystems that cannot speak for themselves.
Background
SignaNatura began from a simple concern: many of the most important changes in nature begin quietly, long before they become visible to everyone.
Forests grow silent. Insects disappear. Seasons shift. Animals change their behaviour. Species move away from places where they once belonged. At first, these changes may look like isolated observations. Over time, they may form a much larger signal.
Climate change is already putting pressure on animals, plants and ecosystems. But nature does not always send its warnings loudly. Often, the first signs appear at the edges in small local changes noticed by people who pay attention.
SignaNatura was created to help collect, understand and connect these weak
signals. We combine human observations, open data and artificial intelligence to build a clearer picture of what nature is trying to tell us.
Our work is not about predicting the future with certainty. It is about listening earlier, noticing more carefully, and helping nature’s quiet messages become visible before they disappear into silence.

I am a nature and bird lover who wants to make nature’s quiet changes visible. Through SignaNatura, I am building a community that listens, observes and helps give a voice to the animals and ecosystems that cannot speak for themselves.
Simo

I have always noticed small changes in nature — fewer birds, strange weather, quieter forests. SignaNatura gives those observations a place, a purpose and a way to become part of something larger.
Nature Observer
I believe small local observations can reveal bigger changes in nature. SignaNatura turns care, curiosity and everyday attention into shared understanding and a stronger voice for the living world.
